Our family had such a wonderful stay at The Brickhouse! The home was cozy, well-stocked, and perfectly set up for quality time together. We especially loved spending evenings around the fire pit and relaxing in the hammocks—those little touches made the experience truly special. The location was ideal for walking into downtown Black Mountain, and everything felt easy and welcoming. The space was clean and comfortable, and the host was friendly and responsive. We made great memories here and would absolutely return for another family getaway!

Blackmountain is always our first choice to stay when we plan our mountain getaways. Not only is it nostalgic for me as I grew up coming here, it’s become that for our boys. This rental was idealic. Great location. We walked everywhere downtown, multiple visits to lake tomahawk and the home provided a great fenced in back yard that the boys utilized. They enjoyed the hammocks and cornhole. Our youngest especially enjoyed catching fireflies at night. This home is just 2 miles from Montreat where we frequented for hiking and fishing. Walking distance was a basketball court at the church nearby that we also enjoyed. 3 boys are busy so having so much to do locally when we weren’t out hiking was importantly to us. We will be back and hope this home is available for our return reservation.

I felt so at home here. It's beautifully furnished. My granddaughters loved walking to town and riding their bikes around the neighborhood. Erica was always helpful and quickly answered every question. It's a dog friendly house, with a crate and towels and feeding/water bowls provided. We really enjoyed our time there.

My wife and I and our 4 boys (16, 15, 13, 10) had a wonderful weekend at the Brickhouse. Great location in Black Mountain for walking to restaurants, stores, breweries, ice cream, etc. we went tubing with Mad Co. (35 minutes), to the Pinball Museum in Asheville (15 minutes), and hiking on Lookout Mountain (8 minutes). The boys had a blast. That said, it’s also an ideal location for a couples or girls group getaway, just in a perfect location in a beautiful mountain town. The house was immaculate, perfect size for the 6 of us. Thank you Erica, I got some gold stars from my wife for booking this trip.

We had such a great time. It was lovely. We felt comfortable the minute we walked in the door. The place was clean, up to date, comfortable, roomy, cute backyard and walkable to everything. We had planned on spending more time in Asheville, but we had such a good time in Black Mtn, we just did things there. Erica was extremely gracious. Now we know where we're going to stay the next time we head for the mtn.s :)

Erica and Hayne are great hosts. Their house is cozy, clean and only a couple blocks from shops and restaurants in Black Mountain. There are tons of nearby trails and it's a short drive from downtown Asheville. We'll definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.
