Our stay was absolutely perfect! The home is beautiful, spotless, and exactly like the photos. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed, and the bed was super comfy. We especially loved spending time on the wonderful deck with the propane fire pit, which was such a peaceful spot to relax. The location couldn’t be better — close to the charming town of Black Mountain, with its many interesting shops and restaurants, and just a short drive to Asheville. The hosts had great communication and shared lots of helpful information, including videos, about how the house ran, which made for a smooth and stress-free stay. We will definitely be back, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay in the area.

Erica is a wonderful host, she reached out multiple times to see if we needed anything and provided a comprehensive guide book for the house and Black Mountain/Asheville which was really helpful. The house is beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for great restaurants, shops and amazing hiking trails. I will definitely stay again and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Asheville area.

We just returned from a 3 week stay at The Brickhouse. Erica and Hayne were the perfect hosts. Prior to our stay they sent an app that provided details about the house, the town, the surrounding area… everything one needs to know. The house was meticulous. The beds were very comfortable, the linens and towels top notch, the kitchen was well appointed, the smart TVs worked seamlessly and there was just an overall good vibe. The backyard was big enough to throw the ball around for our pup and the fire pit area was a real bonus. We felt safe the entire time. Black Mountain is a gem! With dozens of restaurants and shops within super easy walking distance of the house we were never bored and we have never encountered a more dog friendly place! Every day we had an adventure. Catawba Falls and the river at South Mountains State Park were my favorites and an easy drive. We are definitely going back to The Brickhouse next year. Highly recommended! This is our 2nd time staying at the little brick house and it was another great experience! We are two families with 3 young girls and the house is perfect for us. The girls love their bedrooms and the hammocks outside with the firepit for making s'mores and roasting marshmallows. Each evening a little bunny visited and the girls loved watching him. They named him Cinnabun. There is so much fun at the house but steps away there is a hidden swing by the yoga studio and a splashpad and green space for all to enjoy, complete with giant rocking chairs and nearby ice cream at Kilwin's. The girls love this house!
Us adults love the walkable town of Black Mountain. Our two favorite spots, the Bush Farmhouse and the Pure & Proper, are steps away from the house. The house is incredibly comfortable for making meals and for relaxing to watch football or play games. We love it!
Erica is an amazing host, with proactive communication and support. This is truly a 5/5 place to stay!

Our weekend stay was great! Inside the A Frame was very clean and had everything you might need. The location was very walkable to Main Street and in town with lots of shops and local coffee shops/restaurants.

This home was the perfect place to stay! Its location was the perfect balance of being peaceful and secluded while also being close to multiple attractions, restaurants, essentials, and major roadways. It was beautiful and clean and Erica was a great host. I would absolutely stay at one of Erica's properties again.

It was just what I wanted! Stylish and cozy cabin, super clean and neat! Lots of nice things like complementary wine, wood, hammock, local guide and board games. Loved our stay and will def recommend to our friends!

Erica’s cottage in Black Mountain provided the retreat our family of four needed after 10 days of road-tripping. The home was clean, comfortable, naturally lit, nicely furnished, and thoughtfully stocked. The porch, y’all, just go for the porch! The kids loved the loft space. We appreciated the access to laundry, and as a shower guy, I must note that it’s spacious with great water pressure.
The driveway is pretty steep, with little room for turning around at the top landing, but I managed just fine in a loaded, front-wheel-drive minivan. There’s an easily accessible parking spot about halfway up if you’re not feeling adventurous.
The location has that secluded, forested mountain feeling (a plus for us) but is only a short drive to the cool little town center, trailheads, grocery store, etc. We enjoyed Black Mountain so much that we tossed our plans to head into Asheville.
We didn’t see any black bears… maybe next time!

We love this place. Sitting on the large porch every day was so quiet and calming, the bed is comfy, the welcome wine was much appreciated! This was our second time here and won’t be the last!

Recently updated home in the absolute best location in Black Mountain! We stayed there with my parents and young children and had an incredible time, Erica was very responsive, the house met our needs so well, etc.
